Beverly Jean (Norcross) Tibbits, age 95, of Fort Dodge, IA, formerly of Robins, IA, passed away at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, surrounded by her loving family.

A visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 12 PM until service time at 2 PM with Pastor Brian Hill officiating. A livestream of the service will be available on the Cedar Memorial website under Beverly’s website under the video tab, starting on Thursday, December 12, 2024, starting at 2 PM. Interment to follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Hiawatha, IA.

Beverly was born on May 4, 1929, in Lyle, MN. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Howard and Doris (Myhre) Norcross. On July 12, 1947, Beverly married the love of her life, Morse Tibbits at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and travelling, especially to Hawaii and Europe.

Those left to cherish Beverly’s memory are her daughter, Debby (Alan) Takatsuka of Fort Dodge, IA; a daughter-in-law, Joni Tibbits, of Robins, IA; her grandchildren, Lisa (Brandon) Kepner, of Cedar Rapids, IA, Ben Tibbits, of Palo, IA, Ryan (Kayla) Takatsuka of Fort Dodge, IA, and Kai (Ben) Takatsuka, of Minneapolis, MN; her great-grandchildren, Broc Tibbits, Bronson Kepner, Alexis Kepner, Maisie Takatsuka, and Milo Takatsuka; a sister, Connie Randall of Mason City, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morse, her parents, her son, Fred Tibbits, a grandson, Brandon Tibbits, and her siblings, Darrel Norcross, Dorothy (Louie) Lugg, Delores (Dick) Almquist, and Carroll (Marilyn) Norcross.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Trinity Regional Medical Center and Journeys at Friendship Haven for all the love and support they showed Beverly, while she was in their care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of one’s choice.
