Michael Anthony Morrow, 59, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Belle Plaine Specialty Care Center. Homegoing services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Visitation will be one hour prior to services, Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Brosh Chapel. Burial will be in Czech National Cemetery.
Michael was born on July 13, 1965, in Rock Island, the son of Emanuel Morrow and Lillie Bell. He loved watching tv, movies, fishing, playing cards, good food, listening to music, especially Michael Jacksons “Beat It”. He enjoyed being with his family, and his laugh was contagious. Michael was not one to complain unless you got in the way of his favorite show, Price is Right. He was a good-spirited man and will be truly missed by many.
Michael is survived by his sisters Linda Morrow, Toni Morrow, Vivian (Andrew) Morrow-Coffer, Teresa Morrow; his brothers Elroy Morrow; stepbrothers Billy Offutt, David Offutt and Anthony Bomar; sister-in-law Bertha Morrow-Cooper, Janette Morrow and Betty Morrow; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Emanuel (Barbara) Morrow Jr. and Jerry (Rose) Morrow, Ronnie Morrow, Calvin Morrow, Leon Morrow, his sister Diane Morrow; and his nieces Ambresha and Jorwarta Kyle.
