Marketa Brown
Marketa Yvette Brown, affectionately known as Keta, passed away on June 19, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio, at the age of 54. Born on April 17, 1970, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a lifelong resident of the area and a proud alumna of Glenville High School.
Keta dedicated over 13 years of her career to the Lake County Department of DD, where she was cherished for her dedication and warmth. Her passion extended beyond her professional life; she had a love for comedy videos, which brought joy and laughter to her and those around her.
Keta is survived by her loving family, including her daughters Marshonna, Martazia, and Ja’Niya; son Jamir; mother Ann; stepmother Loretta; brothers Will and Spencer; and sisters Delisa, LaShunda, and LaQuitta. Also, a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Hall.
The Calhoun Funeral Home in Cleveland, Ohio, is assisting the family during this difficult time. Keta’s life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
