Lois C. Strzelecki
Lois C. Strzelecki, age 88, of Yorkville, IL passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora, IL. She was born in Blue Island, IL the daughter of William and Katherine (Koning) Rippe.
Lois was united in marriage on December 30, 1960 to Eugene Strzelecki and they spent the next 60 years happily together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Strzelecki of Yorkville, IL; her children, Gene (Lisa) Strzelecki Jr of South Elgin, IL, Cindy (David) Splayt of Yorkville, IL, and Kim (Steve) Garner of Yorkville, IL; her grandchildren, Lauren, Brandon, and Brett Strzelecki, Zach and Tori Splayt, Kelly, Eric, and Chase Garner and one great-grandchild, Myla Delgado; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Katherine Rippe; and her two sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 N. Bridge St., Yorkville, IL. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
