Tina Marie Davidson

Tina Marie (Dill) Davidson passed away Sunday, May 30th surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born December 27th, 1959 to Horace (Bud) and Linda Dill, was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and a graduate of West Henderson High School. She took courses at Blue Ridge Community College and completed a short program in interior design. However, her college career was cut short as she married her first husband, Galen Carland, and chose a much more noble career path called, “Motherhood.” She had four children with Galen and while they later separated, they remained friends to set a good example for their kids and others around them. Tina later re-married to Terry Davidson, who would become an incredible caretaker and husband for her.

Tina was an incredible woman who always remained positive regardless of the situation. While inflicted with a terrible illness for many years, she was upbeat and rarely complained, adapting to every situation. She was a wonderful friend, amazing wife, and an incredible mother who loved her four kids more than anything in the world. She was a friend to everyone, sometimes to her own detriment, always going above and beyond to care for others before herself. In her final days, she worried more about her children, husband, family and friends and how they were going to cope more than she worried of her own condition. She had a heart bigger than most, a contagious joyful spirit, and a really loud laugh! She loved the mountains, violets, horses, dragonflies, Tinkerbell, the beach, baseball and softball, anything purple and anything her children were interested in. She loved her husband, Terry, and the numerous adventures and trips they took during their marriage. She loved her siblings, her Wal-Mart family, her church family and virtually everyone she came in contact with. Her heart overflowed with love for everyone that she met.

Tina is survived by her mother, Linda Dill; her husband, Terry Davidson; her four children, Josh, Phil, Timmy and Elise Carland; her sisters, Bonnie Parker and Ramona Weller; her brother, Bryan Dill; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends at 11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 1 PM on Wednesday, June 2nd 2021 at the Hendersonville Church of Chris, 1975 Haywood Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28791.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Henderson County or The Southeastern Children’s Home.
