Marjorie (Marge) Jean (Hoth) Heiserman, 78, of Edgewood, formerly of Manchester, passed away on January 10, 2024 at the Edgewood Convalescent Home, Edgewood, Iowa. Per her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life and inurnment will be held at a later date.
Marge was born May 29, 1945 in Sumner, IA to Harold and Ellen (Turner) Hoth. In 1965 Marge married Thomas Arlington. Two children, Kristian and Christine, were born to that union. They later divorced. Marge married Roger Heiserman on June 13, 1969 and three more children, Carolyn, Carl and Cathy, were added. Marge worked for 2001 Videos as well as Pronto, Nabby’s, Super Value and EconoFoods in Manchester.
Marge is survived by her children: Kristian (James) Arlington, Manchester, Christine Cortez and special friend, John Miller, Manchester, Carolyn (Michael) Wolter, Cedar Rapids and Cathy (Carl) Wickman, Springville; her siblings: JoAn Hinton, Parma, OH, James Hoth, Waterloo, Janet (James) Johnson, Eagle Grove, Linda (Steven) Miller, Manchester, and Brenda Ropson (Robert (Bob) Drinkwater) Appleton, WI; grandchildren: Julia (Barry) Moriarity, Jacksonville, FL, Joel Wickman, Cedar Rapids, and Malachi Finch, Manchester.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, son Carl Heiserman, father and stepmother, (Harold and Verdelle Hoth), mother and stepfather (Ellen and Gerald Johnson), father and mother-in-law Carl and Tiena Heiserman, and brother in-law David Hinton.
