A visitation will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 6pm – 8 pm at Martin’s Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas. Interment will occur later at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Carrie was born September 11, 1997 in Austin, Texas to David and Jennifer Orcutt. Her parents decided to name her after their good friends: Carrie Hall, Beth Markham, and Beth Orcutt. Her father, David was in business school at the time, so she was their first “C.E.O.” Carrie moved around a lot growing up and touched many lives in North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Illinois, and Texas. Carrie and her family settled in Granbury in December of 2006. She attended Mambrino Elementary and was in the life skills class with Susan Young. This is where she finally walked independently for the first time. Carried graduated from Granbury High School.
Carrie attended Camp Summit where she rode horses, ziplined, and went swimming. Carrie enjoyed boat rides on Lake Granbury. Her family learned that she was a thrill seeker when she got the chance to snow ski in Durango, Colorado. She loved music, and enjoyed Disney’s Little Einsteins for the classical music and funny sounds. Her favorite spot was sitting on their back porch, watching the boats zoom by on the lake while listening to Disney music, enjoying the lake breeze.
Carrie will be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes, her Julia Robert’s smile, and her infectious laughter.
Carrie is survived by her parents: David and Jennifer Orcutt; siblings: Grayson Orcutt and Amelia Orcutt; grandparents: Fred and Joan Orcutt, Garey and Patsy Kirk; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Under the direction of Martin’s Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas.
