On Tuesday; March 23, 2021, a beautiful spirit left this earth. Lois Fay Hyman Hilton was born August 5, 1931 to Ernest and Rayna Mae Hyman in Saint Jo, Texas. She married Billy Louis Hilton on December 1, 1948. They had seven children and were married for 72 years. Born a country girl, she loved nature and the outdoors, family gatherings, and reunions. Lois will be remembered as a legacy of beauty, kindness, gentleness and love to all who knew and loved her.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Reva Jo Cannon and an infant daughter.
She is survived by her husband and seven children, Janice Porter Hendrix, Laura Hewitt, Lynette Grissom, Billy Hilton, Jr., Joe Hilton, James Hilton and Jayna Lindenmeyer, as well as 21 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6pm. to 8pm. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Wiley Funeral Home Chapel of Granbury with graveside service and burial to follow at 2:15PM. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
