Darlene Marie (Dee) Clark

Darlene Marie (Dee) Clark 86, went home to the Lord on Monday; March 15, 2021.
Dee was born on August 27, 1934 in Green, Kansas to Howard and Lilly Gebhardt.
She grew up in Green, Kansas and graduated from Green High School in 1952. She was employed by the state of Kansas in Topeka Kansas. Later she lived in Taiwan and California and settled in Wichita Falls Texas. Dee was employed by Sears for a period of 30 plus years as parts manager. In1979 she married Dusty Clark in Fort Worth Texas. The Clarks retired and moved to Granbury Texas in 1989 where they ministered for 20 years with the church youth of Granbury. Dee was always active in the community and at her church. She never met a stranger. She was always lending a helping hand and making room for anyone at her dining room table for dinner. She volunteered many years at People Helping People with food and clothing assistance for those in need. She always helped with registration for VBS, block parties at our local subdivisions, Back to School Splash, handed out Valentine Cards to our seniors, fall festivals, and always ran a booth at the Community Easter-egg Hunt and the list goes on. Dee always made time to attend family parties and church gathering. She wasn’t shy in wearing a birthday hat, wearing black floppy hat for DIVAS night nor having a good time, especially making fun of Dusty. Everything that Dee did was because of her love for her creator. So many individuals were won for Christ because of the time she gave to others.
Dee is survived by her husband Dusty Clark; two sons, David and Michael Streadwick of Wichita Falls, a sister Betty Lou Cooper of Colorado; daughter- in -law, Chelle Streadwick of Wichita Falls and two granddaughters, Angela and Joanna Streadwick of Wichita Falls, Step-daughter, Teddi Lane and husband Mike, their son Justin and daughter Kasey.
