Maysville, Missouri…. Kenneth Clay Swartz, age 83, was born June 14, 1940, the son of Clay Karl Swartz and Irene (Morgan) Swartz and passed away on August 16, 2023.  

Kenneth was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed riding motorcycles. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Thelma Townsend. 

He is survived by his children, Susan (Garry) McFee of Weatherby, MO and Gary (Brenda) Swartz of Marthasville, MO; grandchildren, Ashley (Craig) Putnam, Caitlyn McFee (Brett Anderson), Whitney (Jared) Mohesky, Holly Swartz, Clayton Swartz; great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Reid Putnam, Blake and Josie Mohesky; brother-in-law, WC Townsend; and numerous family and friends.  

The family would like to give a special thank you to the caregivers at Quail Run and 3 Rivers Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dekalb County Nutrition Center or 3 Rivers Hospice.

Cremation under the direction of Turner Family Funeral Home.

It was Kenneth’s wishes to not have a visitation or funeral service.
