Sharee L. Richerson
- July 11, 2023
Sharee L. Richerson left this earthly life on July 5, 2023, answering the call to go home and rest in God’s care. She was born on November 1, 1990, to the union of Yolanda and Dereck Richerson in Akron, Ohio. She accepted Christ at an early age at Prince of Peace Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Timothy Wagner.
She graduated from Firestone High School, where she learned to be a team player as an outstanding basketball player. After high school, she worked as a Healthcare Aide, where she showed her love and care for those who could not help themselves.
Sharee loved her children and doted on them as much as any good mother could. Her love for fashion was evident. You could find her wearing the most beautiful “glam”, as well as high fashion jewelry that would take your breath away. When she got older, she became a part of the union of her beloved stepmother and her father, Deacon Dereck and LaRay Richerson. She loved them dearly.
Her favorite color was blue, although she was rarely in a “blue mood.” Her laughter was loud, with an enchanting noise, and would draw anyone close by to look for her.
She loved to eat!! If food was nearby, Sharee was eager to get her plate. She loved seafood, but “crab-boil” was her favorite. Her smile was infectious, and she gave new meaning to the saying, “I’m a Daddy’s girl.”
She will truly be missed by her family and all those who knew her.
Sharee was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Richerson; grandmother, Joanne Gervins; uncle, Vaughn Richerson; and aunts, Deneise Pollard, Berlin Gervins and Darlene Gervins.
She leaves to cherish her memory, parents, Yolanda Richerson (mother), Dereck and LaRay Richerson (father and stepmother) of Akron, OH; grandmothers, Anna Richerson and Loretta Graham of Akron, OH; children, Dallas Jr., De’Nayla, Quinley and Stormie of Akron, OH; siblings, Darshun-Tierra, Durrell, John, Nicholas, of Akron, OH, Raymond of Detroit, MI and Cameron of Tennessee; aunts and uncles, Joyce Foster, Karen Richerson, LeAnn-Rodney Tarver and Sam Gervins; special cousins, Nae Marie, Ananda and JaQutta; fiancé and beloved friend, Qunicey Smith of Akron, OH, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that loved her very much.
