Timothy A. “Tad” Dyer, age 59, of Yorkville, IL, formerly of Wilmington, IL passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at his home. He was born on July 27, 1963 in Joliet, IL the son of Donald and Barbara (McFenney) Dyer.
Tad was united in marriage on July 13, 2001, to the former Renee Lincicome and they spent the next 22 years happily together. Mr. Dyer was a graduate of Southern Illinois University. He was employed, for over 20 years, as a Civil Engineer with the FAA in Des Plaines, IL. Tad was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Tad is survived by his wife, Renee Dyer of Yorkville, IL; his children, Thomas Dyer of Yorkville, IL, Matthew (Nicki) Turnbull of Charlotte, NC., Joshua (Ashley Conrad) Turnbull of Hinckley, IL and Nicholas Turnbull of Elgin, IL; his grandson, Miles Turnbull; his mother, Barbara Dyer of Wilmington, IL; his siblings, Mary (Deb Descano) Dyer of Loveland, CO, Christina (Leis) Dyer-Ekbert of Rocklin, CA and William Dyer of Seabrook, TX; his former sister-in-law, Tommie Dyer of Wilmington, IL; also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his father, Donald Dyer and his sister, Stacey Olavesen.
A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
