In loving memory of Judy Nell Kelley, a beloved wife, mom, Mimi, great Mimi, sister, aunt and friend to so many. We say goodbye for now.
Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.
Visitation: Judy’s family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Biggers Funeral Home.
Judy was born May 22,1942 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Leonard L. and Louise Bryant Patterson. She departed this earth May 24, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Judy was a life-long resident of Fort Worth from the age of five. She graduated from Poly Technic High School in 1960.
She met Charles Kelley on a blind date and they married on May 5, 1961. They were joyfully married for 62 years.
Judy was a devoted wife and mother, raising four children while working a full-time job.
She worked as an Insurance Administrator most of her professional life. She was a dedicated employee who required perfection. One of her supervisors is quoted as saying “every company needs a Judy Kelley”.
Survivors: Judy is survived by her husband of 62 years Charles Kelley of Fort Worth; son, Jeff Kelley and his wife, Tammie of Granbury; son, Barry Kelley and his wife, Amy of Fort Worth; son, Tony Kelley of Fort Worth; daughter, Kara Quillin and her husband, Cody of Santa Anna; brother, Tommy Patterson and his wife, Judy of Granbury; sister, Cindy Holt and her husband, Jim of Stephenville; brother, Doug Jarvis and his wife, Annette of Arlington; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
