Franklin Newton Shuffield

Franklin Newton Shuffield, 86, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas on November 9, 1936 to Clyde and Georgia Welch Shuffield.

Services will be held at 10am, Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan, Texas. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. 

Frank really enjoyed Zumba and the outdoors. He fed the birds, ducks and squirrels and cherished the many times he took his great grandsons to the park. He absolutely loved his family. He never missed a birthday or a family event. The granddaughters were a treasure, but the great grandsons stole his heart.

Frank was preceded in death by wife, Dixie Lee Taylor Shuffield; stepdaughter, Carla Helton; two sisters and a brother.

Frank is survived by his son, Gregory Shuffield and wife Mary; granddaughters, Stormie Richards and husband Jeremy, Wensdie Shuffield and Erica Shuffield; great grandsons, Benjamin Shuffield, Cooper Richards and Laken Richards; and brother Mike Shuffield.
