Dan Popera, longtime Archbishop Curley teacher and basketball coach known for stressing fundamentals, dies
Dan Popera, who taught accounting at Archbishop Curley High School for nearly four decades and was known as “Mr. Fundamentals” for his no-nonsense approach to coaching basketball, died March 5. He was 76.
