Patricia Susan Giganti

Patricia Susan Giganti, 77 of Springfield, died at 9:52 pm, Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born April 11, 1945 in Springfield, to Samuel and Genevieve M. (Zock) Giganti.

Survivors include two sons, Robert J. Giganti of Springfield and Charles J. Lamsargis III of Madison, WI; two special sons, Eric Strohl and John Creviston; one brother, Francis (Karen) Giganti of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Samuel Giganti.

Patricia had a terrific work ethic. She retired in 2006 from the State of Illinois Senate Democrat Caucus and currently worked contractually for the State of Illinois. She also retired in 2007 from St. John’s Hospital.

Visitation: 4 – 7 pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
