Lenard Lee Wilson
Lenard Lee Wilson, 76 of Springfield, died at 7:02 pm, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born January 20, 1947 in Edwardsville, to Willard Myrl and Ruth (Gass) Wilson. He married Bonnie Freytag on January 30, 1965 and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Pamela Webber of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Jacob and Brooke Webber; one great grandchild, Teylie Webber with another one on the way; four brothers, Jim, Wayne, Donnie and David Wilson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steven Wilson; six siblings, Kenneth and Kathryn as infants, and Paul, Michael Carol and Deloris.
Lenard was a US Army Veteran.
He was an electrician for IBEW #193.
Lenard liked riding motorcycles, loved watching NASCAR and was an avid Rusty Wallace fan. He enjoyed camping and canoeing with his1 family.
The family will host A Celebration of Life at a later date.
