Shadia Rhunda (Sayegh) Fuess, 57 passed from this life Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in Azle, Texas.
Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2023 with a Holy Rosay to commence at 7:30 p.m. at Biggers Funeral Home.
Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 16250 Old Weatherford Rd., Aledo, Tx. with Monsignor Publius Xuereb presiding.
Interment: 1:15 p.m., following the service at the Dallas- Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
Shadia was born November 12, 1965, to Jamil and Louice Ogla Sayegh in Yonkers, New York. She graduated high school from Simi Valley, Ca. and attended Grossmont & Moorpark College. She met and married Peter Donald Fuess on May 8, 1998, in La Mesa, Ca. She was a devoted wife to Peter for 25 years.
Shadia was a wonderful lady who loved music, singing and dancing. She was an adventurous lady. She enjoyed being still and sitting with nature, traveling and going on cruises. She was strong willed and accomplished her goals with positive energy. She was compassionate, with a heart of gold who help those in need.
February 2008, Shadia and Peter moved to Azle, Texas. She worked for many years as a Teller for Wells Fargo Bank.
She was a long-time parishioner of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Aledo and was a member of the choir.
Shadia was preceded in death by her parents, Jamil & Lourice Sayegh.
She is survived by her siblings, Suzanne Sayegh, Martin Sayegh and Samantha, Alex Sayegh, Mary Sayegh and Bassam, George and Senna Sayegh; and several nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed.
