David Micheal Blackwell

David Micheal Blackwell, 50, of Springfield passed away on November 24, 2022 at home. He was born January 12, 1972 in Springfield to Ronald Lee and Diane Louise (Nation) Blackwell and they preceded him in death. He married Michelle Swart on October 15, 2015 and she survives.

He is survived by three children, Michael (Dana) David Blackwell of Springfield, Elliott Mitchell Blackwell of Springfield, and Jasmine Danielle Blackwell of Springfield, four stepchildren; one grandchild; three step-grandchildren; one sister, Tammy S. Blackwell of Springfield, two brothers, Charles (Jaci) Shellhammer of Springfield and Anthony (Mariah) Shellhammer of Texas and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a car wash attendant at Car Wash City and managed the car wash in Chatham. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
