Sharon Sue Saner
Sharon Sue Saner, 77, of Springfield, died at 4:07 am, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at her home. She was born October 30, 1944 in Tennessee, the daughter of Leo and Catherine Murnick Lasko.
She married Bernard P. Saner October 5, 1969 and he preceded her in death October 15, 2010.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah (Christopher Pemberton) Saner of Vancouver, WA and Amy (Michael) Reardon of Rochester; one stepdaughter, Stacie (Rob) Anagnostis of Columbus, OH; one granddaughter Caroline Elizabeth Reardon; three sisters, Pat (Ed) hunter of Pana, Toni (Jim) Arnette of Brownburg, IN and Sandy (Noel) Colin of Pana and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Sharon was a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse at St. John’s Hospital for over forty years.
She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church; a graduate of St. John’s School of Nursing and a member of the Cache Club and Red Hat Society.
Visitation: 5 – 7 pm, Monday, October 3, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 am Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church with Reverend Chuck Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League or St. Jude’s Catholic Church
