AULANDER, NC – Letitia Darlene Kellam Miller, age 79, of the Millennium community, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, NC.
Mrs. Miller was born on December 3, 1942 to Hurshell Phillip Kellam and Evelyn Mare Bass Kellam in Portsmouth, VA. Letitia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, baking, crocheting, and most of the time this included her grandchildren learning how to do theses as well. One of her highlights in life was reading stories to them and adding funny accents and noises to the story. Letitia also spent many hours watching John Wayne movies over and over. She was loved by all that knew her and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Kidd.
Letitia is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Joseph, two daughters, Mary Weekly and husband Colin of Aulander, and Rose Spinell of Newport, FL; a son, Joseph Roderick Miller, Jr. of Sunbury, PA; three grandsons, Daniel Lee Autry, Kyle Smith, and Reese Kern; two granddaughters, Krystal Smith, and Jasmine Rossi; and great-granddaughter, Lydia Smith.
There will be no services at this time.
