Kendra Ann Rockhill Doone

Kendra Ann Rockhill Doone, 51, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born May 13, 1971, in Irwin, PA, the daughter of Ernest Howard and Marianne (Heider) Rockhill. She married Joseph M. Doone on September 30, 1995 and he survives.

Also surviving are her two daughters, Haleigh M. and Shayne M. Doone, both of Springfield; mother, Marianne of The Villages, FL; brother, Ernest Howard Rockhill, Jr. of Millcreek, UT; sister, Nicole (Robert) Gladieux of Oregon, OH; sister-in-law, Maureen Rockhill of Davidson, NC; feline companion, Lucy and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest.

Kendra was a resident of Springfield since 2001, previously of Florida. She was of the Catholic faith. She was an avid reader, enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, and above all else she loved spending time with her family and friends. Kendra was the office manager for Stanley Steamer.

Memorial Gathering: 12 – 2 pm, Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

A private memorial service will be held.

Burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
