Aida Acasili
Aida Acasili, age 69, passed away on June 5, 2022 from a long battle with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
Aida was born in the Philippines to her parents, Jovita Sengco and Enrique Naval. She graduated from Rizal High School in 1970 and the University of the Philippines in 1976 with a degree in nursing. She then immigrated to the United States to begin her decades of work as an ICU nurse. Aida loved and cared for her patients as much as she loved her family and friends. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, fishing, dancing, and gardening.
Aida is survived by many loving individuals, including her husband, Virgilio Acasili, her children, Charles Acasili and Charlene Acasili, and her sisters, Ester (Jaime) Lim and Bella (Pedro) Cabrera. Our family is grateful to know that Aida is finally at peace.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 1104 Waukegan Rd. Glenview, IL 60025 on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.
The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 1775 Grove St Glenview, IL 60025 on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:30am. Interment private.
All are welcome for both the visitation and the funeral mass. Masks are highly encouraged by the family.
Luncheon Reception after the funeral will be limited due to COVID precautions.
