Linda K. Bricker, 74, of Riverton, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. She was born on August 3, 1947 in Springfield to Sydney H. Letz, Sr. and Dorothy J. (Jaspers) Letz. She married James “Jim” Gordon Bricker on January 4, 1964 and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2000.
Also preceding her in death are her parents; son, William H. Bricker; sister, Judy Letz; and one brother, Loren Letz.
Survivors include one daughter, Jamie (Aaron) Merreighn of Riverton; eight grandchildren, Marlena (Steven) Boyd, Rudy Bricker, Zachery Klauzer, Sydney Klauzer, Dallas (Emma) Klauzer, Jazmyn Merreighn, Jessha Merreighn, and Jyness Merrrighn; five great-grandchildren, Ava Gress, Case Boyd, Coleson Findlay, Dakota and Jaelyn Klauzer; one brother, Sydney H. Letz, Jr. of Springfield.
Linda was a resident of Riverton for most of her life and a graduate of Lanphier High School. She worked as a tax specialist at the Department of Revenue from 1989 and retired in 2012.
Linda loved traveling all over the country with Jim. After Jim passed, her kids and grandchildren became her life.
Visitation: 5 – 7 pm, Friday, April 22, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
