Michael S. Cannon

Michael S. Cannon, age 71 of Shabbona, IL passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Prairie Crossing Nursing Home in Shabbona, IL. He was born on September 15, 1950 in East Chicago, IN the son of Ralph A. and Lillian (Colter) Cannon.

Michael was a self-employed photographer and a very talented artist. He was a loving brother, uncle, and great-uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Michael is survived by his siblings, Katherine Dye of New Albany, MS, Dorothy Porter of Colorado, Larry Smith of Dyer, IN, and Curtis (Betty) Cannon of Paw Paw, IL; his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lillian Cannon; his sister, Cheri Haberty; also his brother, Patrick Cannon; his sister-in-law, Dorothy Smith; and his brother-in-law, Donald Dye.

Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in the Nash-Nelson Funeral Home, 1001 East Garfield St., Waterman, IL.

Interment will take place in the Glenfield Memorial Park Cemetery in New Albany, MS.
