His love of football was unwavering and he served as a coach for the Williamsville JFL.
Eric worked as a general manager for The Club fitness centers for many years until he found his true calling and second family at the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department. He served 23 years until illness forced his retirement September 1, 2021. He retired at the rank of Lieutenant and some of his life’s most treasured relationships belonged to the 3rd shift deputies that he served valiantly beside. The Knowski family thanks them for their loyalty, support, and dedication to Eric in our time of need.
