Carol A. Wells

Carol A. Wells, 81, of Riverton died on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on March 4, 1939 in Virden, IL to Dale and Hazel (Moore) Lomelino. She married John Harvey Wells on July 27, 1957 and he preceded her in death on March 26, 2007.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Cindy McMasters and Christy Keller; two granddaughters, Michelle Carol and Marcie McMasters; one grandson, Logan Keller; one great-granddaughter, Madelyn Hernandez; two sons-in-law, Daniel McMasters and Joe DeBrun; and one sister, Donna Stuart.

Carol is survived by one daughter, Cathy (Patrick) Nuss; six granddaughters, Katie (Steven) Dennison, Lyndsey (Chris) Beattie, Taryn (Adam) Hernandez, Leane Keller, Lauren Keller, and Anna McMasters; seven great-grandchildren, Steven and Ethan Dennison, Carson, Colby, Chloe, and Chase Beattie, and Olivia Hernandez; and one sister, Vickie Bruce.

Carol was a resident of the Riverton area all of her life and a member of Riverton First United Methodist Church.

She loved spending winters in South Padre Island, TX, where she had many friends. Carol also enjoyed working puzzles and watching college basketball and NASCAR. Most importantly, Carol loved spending time and making memories with her family. She will be deeply missed.

A private graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverton First United Methodist Church.
