Nancy Lee Kachel Stewart

Nancy Lee Kachel Stewart, age 69, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, departed to be with the Lord on Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Elizabeth House Hospice in Flat Rock, North Carolina.

Nancy was born in Seattle, Washington to the late Bill and Bonnie Kachel. She worked for the Veterans Administration and enjoyed helping men and women get benefits from being in the armed services that sometimes they knew nothing about.

She was a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and loyal friend. Also a woman of faith making herself a house of prayer unto God. Family and friends knew her as the strongest, toughest, smartest, and funniest lady they knew of.

Nancy is survived by her daughters Jana Hester of Hendersonville, NC. An adopted daughter Sara White of Jupiter, FL. A son Floyd Bennett and wife Kristen of Hendersonville, NC. Two sisters Sue Eidschun of St. Pete, Fl, and Lorel Reinstrom of Sarasota, FL.  Four nieces and nephews Loren Reinstrom, Lindsey Reinstrom, John Eidschun, and Keith Eidschum.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Bridge Church in Flat Rock, NC on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM
