Obituary: Misty JoAnne Buttner

May 28, 1961 to June 30, 2020
Misty JoAnne Buttner, our sister, aunt,daughter, and friend has left us on her journey to the spirit world at the age of 59 years old.
She is preceded in death by sisters Jody Efford and Cathy Jo Buttner, and father Jack Buttner; she leaves behind her mother Geraldine Buttner; brothers Dick Buttner (Debbie), Bob Buttner (Diane), Tony Buttner, and sister Mary Jane Ostrander (Chris).

Misty was a Native Nevadan and a member of the Washoe Tribe. She graduated from Carson City High School in 1979. Misty fulfilled her career with Blue Cross/Anthem before retiring in 2015.
Misty enjoyed her numerous nephews and nieces. She never missed a ball game or birthday and was faithfully the first to lend a helping hand when needed. Misty was described by her friends and family as having a kind, pure heart and soul who never angered and never complained, even through her pain and restrictions caused by the disease of Scleroderma.
Misty will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
