Joshua “Josh” Morris, 48, of Martelle, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa. Celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the funeral home. Full military honors will be accorded by the U.S. Coast Guard Honors Detail.

Josh is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Amanda of Martelle, Iowa; three children, Andy, Paul, and Riley Morris; parents, John Morris of Oklahoma, and Marlene Lucas of Minnesota; brother, Austin Lucas of Minnesota; sister, Jessica Potter of Shellsburg, Iowa; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
