Jonathan Schwarz

Jonathan J. Schwarz, age 17 of Chisago City, Minnesota, passed away on October 25, 2025 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Big Jon, Jon, Jonny, Quarter Finder, Scooter Butt, was born on December 19, 2007 in St. Paul, Minnesota to parents Joseph Schwarz and Melissa Koprowicz. He was a senior at Chisago Lakes High School and enjoyed singing in the school choir/select choir and welding. He liked to play Xbox with his friends, go bowling, driving his friends around plus fishing, bon fires and a wide variety of music. He never wore jeans and loved wearing sweatshirts on a hot day!

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Thomas Koprowicz and Robert Schwarz, grandmother Shirley Schwarz, cousin Jacob Lawson, and aunt Angela Schwarz.

Jonathan is survived by his parents Joseph Schwarz and Melissa Koprowicz, sister Johanna (Chris) Hyde, brother Josh, grandmothers Lois Koprowicz and Roberta Schwarz, uncle Mike Koprowicz, aunts Mechelle Theis, Mary Schwarz, and Dawn Schwarz, cousins Molly Gilbertson, Alex Ullmann (Blake), Troy Ullmann (Katrina), Trevor Koprowicz, Adam Lawson (Jackla), Dylan Roland, Jacques Gay, and many other relatives and friends.

Flowers may be sent directly to the church or donations to the meal train fundraisers.
