Lesley Hinton

Lesley Alan Hinton, age 74 of Ellenboro. WV, departed this life on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV. He was born on June 25, 1951 in Pennsboro, WV the son of the late Charles Albert and Gladys Emma Smith Hinton.

Lesley was a graduate of the former Pennsboro High School. Throughout his working career, Lesley had been employed by Kardex, Reno, OH, for 20 years, Troy Mills, Harrisville, WV for 10 years and Simonton Windows, Ellenboro, WV for 20 years. Lesley enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and taking drives on our country roads.

Lesley is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Lynn Hinton; one daughter, Heather Ann Lamp (Rick) Newport, OH; three sons, Alan Hinton II (Nancy), Spotsylvania, VA, Charles Lindsay Hinton (Holly), New Matamoras, OH and Collin Wilson Hinton, Pennsboro, WV; grandchildren, Meranda, Shay, Lea, Benjamin, Bryant,.Bradley, Emily, CJ and Elise and his furry companion, Bentley.

In addition to his parents, Lesley was preceded in death by his brothers, Louie Hinton and Larry Hinton.

Funeral services will be held at the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, WV on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 4:00 PM with the Rev. Bud Corbin officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. In accordance with Lesley’s wishes he will be cremated.
