Mark Stevens

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Mark Stevens, a resident of Grande Prairie, AB, on Sunday, October 19, 2025 in Grande Prairie, at the age of 43 years.

Born and raised in Dawson Creek, Mark was a natural athlete who loved hockey, baseball, skiing, fishing, and golf. His first summer job as a fishing guide at Maynard Lake, Lake of the Woods, Canora sparked a lifelong passion for fishing.

Mark was known for his humor, charm, and mischievous streak — from flooding a school fountain with pencils to making an unforgettable impression on everyone he met. He could sell anything, to anyone, and made friends wherever he went.

Above all, Mark’s greatest joy was his daughter Blake, age 8, his adventure buddy and pride and joy.

He is survived by Blake, his sisters Whitney and Kelsey, his brother Todd, and his mother Laurie. Mark will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his laughter, love, and larger-than-life spirit.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 1:00pm from Reynars Chapel. Pauline Haycock will officiate. Interment will be held at a later date.

For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Mark to Step Up N Ride Society, 728 115 Avenue, Dawson Creek, British Columbia, V1G3B8, a charity that has supported the Stevens family for many years.

Very Respectfully Reynars Funeral Home & Crematorium
