Victoria “Vikki” Mae Mahlon, 76, of DuBois, went to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, September 3,2025.
Born on April 30, 1949, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Dorothy V. (Bennet) Gearhart.
On July 3, 1971, in Luthersburg she married John E. Mahlon Sr., he preceded her on September 26, 2018.
Vikki graduated from the DuBois Area High School, class of 1967, attended 1st Baptist Church where she was an active member, enjoyed knitting, reading and gardening. She enjoyed watching Penn State football, Pittsburgh Steelers and was a NASCAR fan. Her family and friends were important to her, especially her three grandsons.
Vikki is survived by two sons: John E. Mahlon and companion Vickie of Grampian, Chad E. (Julie) Mahlon of Montrose, PA., two grandsons: Steven and Jeffrey, two sisters: Dann Hoover of Canada, Norma (Don) Bilger of Grampian, numerous nieces and nephews and her extended family Meghan and Amber.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, sisters Joyce Jones and Carol Ferrell, infant brother Douglas, grandson Calob, daughter-in-law Linda.
Visitation for friends and family will take place at the Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 2 pm – 4pm and 6 pm – 8 pm, and on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the 1st Baptist Church from 10 am – 11 am with the service at 11 am with the Rev. Mark Montgomery. Interment will be in Greenville Cemetery.
