Roy Crow

On Friday, December 11, 2020, Roy Crow, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed at the age of 84. Roy was born July 24, 1936 in Alvarado, Texas to Jack and Oma Crow. He received his petroleum geology degree at SMU, and spent most of his life finding Oil and playing golf in California and New Mexico. He retired to Granbury, Texas. He was married to Ann Lee Woodall on November 27, 1957 and they raised one daughter, Lori, and two sons, Jim and Tim.
Roy was a talented golfer, playing on courses around the country. He couldn’t do anything halfway, he put his all into golf which included modifying his golf cart. He is believed to be the only person in his community to have received a speeding ticket in his golf cart. He was known by friends and family for his quick wit and his generous spirit.
Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday December 22, 2020, Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado, Texas.
