Michael Bierce

Michael J. Bierce of Brewster, NY, passed away Sunday September 28, 2025, in Danbury, CT at the age of 69.

Michael was born May 5, 1956, in Waterbury, CT, son of the late David and Marian (Ingersoll) Bierce. He graduated from North Salem High School in 1975. Michael worked for Tyndall Septic for a short time and for the past thirty years he worked for Mahopac Septic in Mahopac, NY. Michael married Libby Bohlig in Brewster, NY in 2000 and is a member of the NY Riders.

Besides his wife Libby, Michael is survived by his son Michael Jr. and his wife Joanna of New Fairfield, CT; daughter Frances Haber and her husband David of New Fairfield, CT; stepsons Gregory and Matthew Aupperlee of Brewster, NY; brothers Robert Bierce of Patterson, NY and Richard Bierce of Roanoke, VA and grandchildren Jacob, Joey, Jacelyn and Alexander.

Viewing will be held on Thursday October 2, 2025, at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Interment will be private.
