Jessica Lynn Ryan 

October 1, 1986 – September 6, 2025

Jessica Lynn Ryan was born on October 1, 1986 at the Thompson General Hospital .  Weighing in at 7 pounds 15 ounces, she was loved from the moment she took her first breath.  Jessica left us on September 6, 2025 with her Mom and Step-Father by her side.  

Jessica had many jobs over the years; how ever her passion was helping others.  She spent many years supporting students as an Educational Assistant in elementary schools, as well as students through the St. Amant Center.  Jessica also worked with the Canadian Mental Health Association and supported those struggling with addictions.  She had a big heart, loved people and had many dreams and aspirations.   

Jessica enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing or hiking. She loved speed and adventure; so dirt biking and snowmobiling were favourites of hers as well. Travelling the world had been something she always talked about and had plans to do.

Jessica is survived by her mother Ann Ryan-Dawe (Butch Dawe) and her father Tom Flett (Karen Flett); her siblings Tom (Shauna), Bonnie (Barry), Ricky, Leanne, Jordan (Ashley), Penny (Ren), Tracy (Kenny) and George (Adriane); her nieces and nephews; Allyssa(Josh), Shawn (Kaitlynn), Michelle (Bob), Cassidy (Nick), Leanna (Max), Matthew, Aimee, Theo, Lucas, Zackary, Abbey, Sydney, Alexis (Derick), and Brooklynn..  Jessica is also survived by her beloved cats, Loki and Bella who will be loved and cared for by her Mom and Step-Father.  

. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Thompson, Manitoba at 1:00pm. Final Viewing from 11:00am – 1:00pm. Cremation to follow.
