Nathaniel “Nate” Urbanski
Nathaniel “Nate” Douglas Urbanski, 22, of Chatham, IL, was born on March 3, 2003, in Urbana, IL, the son of Joseph Michael Urbanski and Amanda Marie Trew.
He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Kurtis Singer and Joseph Urbanski, both of Chatham; grandparents, Linda and Dennis Kall of St. Louis, MO and Doug and Cindy Trew of Mechanicsburg; several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. Also surviving is Seemar, his best friend, spirit guide, and beloved Xolo pup.
He was preceded in death by grandpa, Joseph Frank Urbanski and grandma, Geni Taylor.
Nate was a member of Lincoln Land Baptist Church. He was steadfast in his belief in God. His favorite Bible passage was 1st Corinthians 13:13. He was an avid nature seeker and explored all across Central Illinois with Seemar.
Visitation: 11:00 – 1:00 pm Friday, October 10, 2025, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Friday, October 10, 2025, at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Dr. Rod Mattoon officiating. Burial will follow at Auburn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lincoln Land Baptist Church.
