Gloria Cox
Gloria Garner Cox, age 82, of Pine Bluff, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Born July 20, 1943 at Delight in Pike County, she was the daughter of the late Hoyt Garner and Rebecca Watson Garner. She graduated from Delight High School in 1960.
Gloria worked for several years at the Pine Bluff Arsenal in traffic control. She was also the co-owner and bookkeeper for Ronnie’s Lift Truck Service.
She was a member of Green Meadows Baptist Church. Gloria also earned a Black Belt in Judo and enjoyed SCUBA diving. She loved her Lord and Savior.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Wade Clark; and three brothers, Charles Garner, Wendell Garner, and Ricky Garner.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Cox, whom she married on December 31, 1992; two sisters, Glenda Williams of Redwater, Texas and Donna Wilson of Texarkana, Arkansas; two brothers, Kenneth Garner (Netta) of Booneville, Arkansas and Marty Garner (Sherry) of Ohio; a stepdaughter, Tracy Brashears of Pine Bluff; along with a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 24, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel. Her funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
