Stanley McGraw Sr. passed away Sunday, September 28th, 2025 with his loved ones by his side.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Stanley was born April 7th, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri to John and Louann McGraw. Stanley moved with his family in 1970 to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and lived there until his passing.

In 1987 Stanley was united in marriage to Ronnee O’Brien and with that union came three beautiful children, Emily, Stan Jr., and Seth McGraw. They later divorced.

Stanley spent 20 years as a metal fabricator at Midwest Metal Products before having to go on disability.

Stans love of the outdoors always had him on the go, fishing, boating, camping or hunting, and he loved it even more when his kids or extended family were involved. But best bet his beloved dog Athena was always by his side.

Stanley is survived by his children Emily, Stan Jr. and Seth McGraw, his mother LouAnn McGraw, brother Ronald McGraw, sister MaryAnn (Jarrod) Wood, nephews Shane (Rosyl) McGraw, Jarred and Spencer Wood, and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father John McGraw, his sister Marcilee McGraw, and his grandparents Carl and Lillian Halbleib and Edwin and Emma McGraw.
