Mr. Charles Anthony “Tony” Cochran, age 80, of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 at his residence.
Mr. Cochran was born on March 30th, 1945 to the late Vonnie Lafayette and Effie Inez Cochran. He worked as a plumber for many years and honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Cochran was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Cochran is preceded in death by sister, Mary Ann Cochran Dodge, and brother David Cochran.
Survivors include daughter Cindy Webber; sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Deetra Spann and Blain and Heather Spann; grandchildren and spouses Weldon and Randi Spann, Danielle Coker, Heaven and Damarcus Williams, Brooke Spann, Chody, Hadley, Leo, and August; great-grandchildren Keaton, Kendall, Stetson, Clennon, Kinsley, and Cohan; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Dixie Cochran.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Rev. John Reece officiating. Military Rites will be performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will be held at a later date in the Georgia National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the service hour of 11:30am at the Logan Funeral Home.
