Robert Weitzel

WARREN – Robert K. Weitzel, age 86, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 26, 2025. He was born June 6, 1939 in Warren, the son of James and Marvel Weitzel.

A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Bob retired from Packard Electric, where he served as a committeeman for IUE Local 717. He belonged to St. William Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and had served as president of the Northwest Neighborhood Association, patrolling the streets many a night for his neighbors and friends. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and bowling.

Precious memories of Bob live on with his beloved wife of sixty-five years, Theresa (Schwarz) Weitzel, whom he married July 23, 1960; his daughter. Lorie Steinbeck (Gary) of Warren; his grandson, Jozey Steinbeck (Yvonne); two great-grandchildren, Nick and Aubrey Steinbeck; his nephew and godson, Ed Radnothy; two other nephews, Joe Radnothy and Paul Schwarz (Mitzy); his niece, Gina Greathouse (Neil); his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Judy Schwarz; his sister-in-law, Georgalene; and his beloved dog, Cricket.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his sister, Peggy Cutlet; his brother, James Weitzel; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anna and Paul Schwarz; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sonny and Roseann Radnothy.

Services will be held privately. Interment will take place at All Souls Cemetery. To honor Bob’s great life, do a good deed for someone, and remember Bob and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
