Carson High School girls tennis qualifies for team regionals
- September 27, 2025

For the second year in a row, Carson High School girls varsity tennis will be playing in the 4A Northern Nevada Team Regionals. Under first year head coach Paul Maguire, the team needed a win on the road at Reed High School to secure the sixth and final spot. CHS defeated Reed 11-7 on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025.
“This is a big accomplishment for the girls, last year we made the regional semi-finals, but graduated 5 seniors/starters from that team. This year with only 4 returning starters, we were essentially starting a majority of first-time players, including one true freshman,” said head coach Paul Maguire.
The team was anchored by two upperclassmen, Senior and Team Captain Aubrey McAllister who played in the number one single slot and who went 21-9 on the season. Junior and number two singles player, Lily Maguire, who went 21-10 on the season. Other starting girls for CHS and contributing wins to the season totals were, Lainey Miller, Abby Wolz, Grace Syndergaard, Johanna Neill, Jasmin Navarro, Natalia Armstrong, Anna Parussimova, and Olivia Monson.
Team Regionals are set to begin Sept. 30, 2025.
