Robert L . Oliver (Bobby)

Robert went home to be with his Lord on August 30, 2025, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Mainland Campus.

Robert graduated James B. Dudley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina.  After that he enlisted in the United States Army, serving proudly for 20 years and then with the Army National Guard. He worked numerous jobs including the shipyard in Egg Harbor City, Sands Casino, Atlantic City Press and Atlantic City Housing Authority. 

He was a proud member of Second Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board for over 20 years. He loved to play golf and travel. Also on Fridays, he liked to hang out with his friends and also spend time with his grandson and great grands.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Josephine Oliver; his loving wife of over 50 years,  Alma Oliver; his daughter, Regina Oliver; and his sister, Mary Hooper.

Survived by his grandson, Robert D. Oliver; his great granddaughters, Radirah and Rayanna; his great grandson, Rahamaah’ his siblings, Annette Gilreath and Larry (Carolyn) Oliver; his in-laws, Richard B. Loper, III, Sarah (Leonard) Sharp and Josephine P. Tolbert; special nephew, Brian Oliver and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.
