Giles Anthony Moore, 62, of Kelly Road, Rensselaer Falls died Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his home while under the loving care of his family and Hospice & Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Canton is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions are suggested to DCSR Fire and Rescue Department.
Giles was born June 8, 1963 in Canton, NY and was a son of the late Lloyd and Kathryn May (Wallace) Moore. He attended Knox Memorial School in Russell.
A marriage to Robin (Sharlow) Larkins ended in friendship.
Giles worked for St. Joe Mining, Riverside Veneer in Heuvelton, Route 11 Trucking and many years for his father at Moore’s Airport in Clare NY.
Surviving are his five children Melinda Brundige of Rensselaer Falls, Jessie (Emily) Moore of Plattsburgh, Nickolas Moore of Hermon, Keisha (Eric O’Marah) Moore of Canton and Paisley Moore of Canton; five grandchildren Skylar Moore, Aurora Slater and Ronald, John and Mable Jean; three sisters Rhonda (Jerry) teRiele of Canton, Brenda (Chad) Emerson of Potsdam and Carlene (Cheyenne Kerr) Dowling of Oswegatchie; a brother Wallace (Cindy) Moore of Edwards; and 12 nieces and 9 nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Lloyd June 6, 2008, his mother Kathryn May 23, 2023 and a brother Cory Moore July 5, 2017.
Giles liked camping, hunting, fishing, working on cars and building stuff. He loved to listen to 70’s music, watch old movies and work on his father’s plane, as well as, building model cars and planes. He was working on his pilot’s license and had a flight simulator program on his computer he enjoyed playing.
