Robert Woudema

Robert G. Woudema, 76, of Momence, IL, died on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Riverside Miller Healthcare in Kankakee, IL. He was born January 5, 1949, in Kankakee, IL, the son of Charles and Mary Snip Woudema. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Bob was a retired civil engineer and served as Assistant County Engineer for Kankakee County from 1980-1999. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and received his bachelors of science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 1971.

Robert loved model railroad trains and was also a member of the Kankakee Model Railroad Club, Illinois Railroad Museum Association, and Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson, IN.

No visitation and/or funeral services will be held per the request of the deceased. A graveside burial will take place at 10:00AM on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Roselawn Cemetery in De Motte, IN.
