Vera Poe

Vera Evelyn “Susie” Poe, age 69 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Highlands ARH Medical Center. She was born October 25, 1955 to her late biological Mother Virginia Hall. She was raised by her late Daddy and Mommy, Mingo Hall and Alice Slone Hall. She was the Wife of Thomas Arthur Poe. She is a member First Presbyterian Church of Prestonsburg. She was a retired Deputy Clerk Family Court. She was a Graduate of Prestonsburg High School Class of 1973.

Along with her Husband, she is survived by her Son: Tommy (Wendy) Poe; Grandchildren: Lauren Kate Poe and Karsten Reed Poe. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin Monday, September 8, 2025 at 6-9pm and Tuesday from 11am until time of service at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 1pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Prestonsburg, Kentucky with Tommy Poe officiating.

Burial will follow at The Poe Family Cemetery, Route 114 at the Magoffin/ Floyd County line.
