MARINA FIGUEROA

[Marina G. Figueroa]

October 8, 1955 – August 13, 2025

Marina was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, the youngest of eight siblings (five sisters and three brothers). She was the beloved daughter of Carlos Pinto and Modesta Piche.

She was a wonderful wife and an amazing mother to her son and daughter. She was also a loyal friend, always willing to help anyone in need without hesitation, and generously shared her wisdom with those around her.

She had a passion for floral arrangements, a skill she largely taught herself. Whenever her children needed flowers, they never went to a florist—they always turned to her. Her beautiful arrangements became well known within her church, among friends, and through her co-workers. One of her last memorable creations was the floral arrangement she made for her mother-in-law’s service in March 2024.

In the past 13 years, her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren, Kaison and Ryelen. She lovingly helped raise them during their early years, even caring for them daily until they entered kindergarten. She delighted in sewing special blankets for them, always matching their favorite characters at the time. Through Kaison and Ryelen, she experienced the joy of motherhood all over again, and much of her life in recent years was devoted to being the best grandmother she could be.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, generosity, creativity, and devotion to her family.
