Mr. Aaron Brandon Burke, age 51, a resident of Foreman, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025, at his home.

He was born January 20, 1974, in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a Senior Engineer for Windstream for 26 years. He loved Yahuah and was very strongly rooted in his faith. He enjoyed reading, learning, and sharing his knowledge of the Bible with everyone that was willing to listen. He also loved studying the law, both Biblical and Constitutional. He was the smartest man you could know and a hard worker who never did anything halfway. He was a loving husband and father who was always up for playing a board game and drinking coffee with his family…and then bragging about winning.

Mr. Burke was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Sue Pope Burke.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Misty Burke; one daughter, Lilly Burke; one son, Nathan Burke; and his beloved cat, Joy, all of Foreman; his father, Kenneth Burke of De Queen; and one sister and brother-in-law, Angela Faith and Travis Peterson; one nephew, Micah Peterson, all of Omaha, Texas; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Sheryl Smith, of Genoa, Arkansas; one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law, Andrew and Loren Smith and two nephews, Lex and Maverick Smith, all of Texarkana, AR; one niece, Madison Smith, of Dallas, Texas; one nephew, Caden Smith, and one great niece, Blakeleigh Smith, both of Texarkana, Texas.

Funeral services for Mr. Burke will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen. Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery in Horatio.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at 1:00 p.m. at the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel.
