Of Hamburg, NY, August 27, 2025. Beloved wife of Paul Kurek; loving mother of Louis (Rosanne) and Michael (Jennifer) Panzica; cherished grandmother of Bri Panzica, Louis Jr. (Alexis) Panzica, Hannah (Eric Anthony) Panzica, Ashley Crosby, and Samantha (Jason) Ribbeck; adored great-grandma of Colton, Morgan, and Jameson; daughter of the late Earl and Anna (nee Pinto) Wockasen; dearest sister of Anna (late Jack) Geidel, Debbie (Ron) Rubensaal, and late Earl Wockasen; also survived by nieces and nephews. Erlene was very active at St. John Paul II Parish and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society, Seniors Club, Operation Good Neighbor, Breakfast Committee, and former member of the Choir. The family will be present on Friday, September 26th from 4-7PM at the (Hamburg Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5453 Southwestern Blvd (Corner of Rogers Road). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 27th at 10AM at St. John Paul II Parish, 2052 Lakeview Rd., Lake View, NY 14085 (Please assemble at the Church).
